WHOLE-ISTIC PHILOSOPHY
When I created Sink Creek Massage in June, 1998, upon my graduation from Texas Healing Arts Institute, I decided that I wanted to give the best possible relaxation massage I could. I set out to take a multitude of massage courses, and received as much bodywork as possible, to design the ultimate relaxation massage.
Somewhere along the way, however, I began helping people overcome challenges like poor nutrition, stress, and maladies such as migraines and sinus headaches, TMJ, and sciatica, to mention a few. Because your health & well-being is our primary focus at Sink Creek Day Spa, we don't do hair, nails, or anything with harsh or harmful chemicals--and we don't believe in pain, so NO WAXING is ever done here!
It soon became evident that relaxation was an important aspect in the treatment process, but that there is much, much more to addressing the needs of the "Whole".
In order for each of us to become a whole person, we must view ourselves from many perspectives: What do we eat? What do we do to relieve stresses? How can we improve our overall health? When I sit with a client for the first time, I discuss these issues so that I am working with the client to treat body, mind & spirit.
